I am happy to congratulate Nicole Mirnig to her master graduation. She completed her master thesis, which I co-supervised besides her first supervisor Prof. Manfred Tscheligi, entitled: “A Communication Structure for Successful Human-Robot Interaction in Public Space”. She analyzed the formula for success of itinerary requests in human communication and extracted those elements that are responsible for making a dialog succeed or fail. Based on that she developed a communication structure for HRI itinerary requests, which she tested in a WoZ case study with the Nao robot.
