In October 2011, the fall school of the “evangelische Akademie Tutzing took place in Munich (Germany) on the topic “Schöne, neue Technikwelt” (eng. beautiful, new technology world“. I gave the opening talk on „The Interdisciplinary Challenge of Human-Machine Interaction Research“ and moreover organised a workshop together with my colleague Dr. Angelika Peer from the Technical University Munich (Germany). The topic of the workshop was Human-in-the-Loop and Elderly Technology and we tried to elaborate theses topics from a user-centered, technology-centered, and product development-cetnered view.
